Terms & Conditions
By checking the terms and conditions box on your order form, you consent and agree that:
- You will go over assigned roles and speeches with your child(ren).
- You will join the email (or other) communication method set up for your club or activity.
- You will be aware of your children’s scheduled meeting roles, and date/time/location of upcoming meetings.
- Your child will arrive on time for meetings, and you and your child agree to abide by the scheduled commitments for your child.
- If you need to change your child’s commitment, you will follow your club’s protocol in this regard.
- There are no refunds for club registration fees or dues, once paid.
For camps, workshops, and short-term classes, a full refund can be made up to 30 days before the first session; a full refund less $100 can be made up to 72 hours before the first session. No refunds will be made within 72 hours of the first session. - If you wish to transfer from one club to another, there is a $25 fee to cover administrative costs.
Specific to the JUNIOR SPEAKERS LEAGUE program
- Although Junior Speakers League clubs are adult-led, the presence of a parent or other adult aide may be required at meetings to ensure any needs are met that might arise for the member. (A parent or aide can attend to multiple children if they are siblings.) Involvement may include sitting with your child at the meeting table during the meeting, or on the side of the room, ready to step in if needed. Once it is determined that a child can operate well in the meeting environment by himself, drop off is permitted.
- You confirm that your child meets Skill Builders readiness guidelines and that you are chiefly responsible for your child’s understanding and readiness for club roles and responsibilities. You will assist him or her, as needed during and between meetings.
1) Ready Set Resources LLC (hereafter Ready Set Resources), its employees, or agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of you and and your child(ren), during scheduled Ready Set Resources events and activities and to use these in any and all media, now or hereafter known.
2) You further consent that your name and your child(ren)’s names and identities may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary. You do hereby release to Ready Set Resources and its agents and employees all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form publicly or privately and to market and sell copies. You understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording you or your child(ren), either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback. You also understand that Ready Set Resources is not responsible for any expense or liability incurred as a result of your participation in this organization or recording, including medical expenses due to any sickness or injury incurred as a result. By agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth here, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understand the statements herein, and are competent to make this agreement.
3) You understand that Ready Set Resources programs are conducted by individuals who may not have been effectively screened or supervised by Ready Set Resources, You release and discharge Ready Set Resources, its clubs, governing bodies, and representatives from any liability for the intentional or negligent acts or omissions of any Chairperson, member’s parent, member, or officer of this club or other clubs, or any officer of Ready Set Resources.
