This camp encompasses the activities in the “Intro to Public Forum Debate” but also teaches research techniques and effective development of Constructives, Rebuttals, and Crossfire questions, to help students deeply understand their case and their opponents’. Learning to anticipate and write blocks will help students stay comfortable and confident in competition, and we will begin to show students how to crack the code of a coherent crystallization in the second half of the debate (Summary and Final Focus).
